FORMAT OF THE COURSE
2 days live activities including the live presentations, the invited lectures of the webinars and the presidential address plus access to pre-recorded theoretical lectures.
 
The formats of each part will be as below:
  • Live presentations: live case-discussion by faculty, 7-10 minutes allocated for each case with open discussion as a whole or in subgroups.
  • Webinars: 30 minutes divided in up to 25 minutes of presentation, leaving 5-10 minutes for discussion.
  • Presidential address: 20 -30 minutes
  • Pre-recorded theoretical lectures: 10 -15 min maximum. All presentations will focus on evidence and will present a summary with take-home messages.
  • The theoretical lectures will be available to participants one week before the virtual course.

 
Timing for the live sessions
CET: 11:00 to 13:00 then 30 minutes lunch time and then 13:30 to 15:30
Japanese time: 7pm to 9:00 pm half hour break and then 9:30pm to 11:30pm
Brazil: 7am to 9am then half hour break and then 9:30 am to 11:30 am.
 
Social program
Initial round of presentations and initial reception
First day welcome reception: Lunch time when the participants will be invited to a virtual toast.
Last day farewell at lunch time.
Two interesting cases shared by the attendants will be chosen.
The faculty will supervise the presentations.
 
Registration fees
100 euros for ESTS trainee members
150 euros for ESTS members
250 euros for non-members
 
Registration and payment deadline
Friday 16 April 2021, but registration may close earlier if the course is full.

Cancellation Policy/Terms and Agreement:
The payment must be received latest by ESTS by Friday 16 April 2021, but registration may close earlier if the course is full. The registration and your place is not confirmed until payment is received. 50% of the registration fee will be reimbursed up to 14 days before the course. No refund will be granted after that date. A change in VAT may lead to different prices. ESTS cannot be held responsible for any loss or damaged incurred.
