Thoracic European Surgical Trials (TEST)

Dear partners, TEST (Thoracic European SurgicalTrials) is a European surgicalclinical trials platform promoting clinical trial enrollment and execution in surgical centers across EUROPE. Currently more than 20 academic and non-academic large volume thoracic surgery centers are part of this platform. We wish to connect the expertise generated via the Early-stage Lung cancer International eXpert Retreat with transcontinental clinical trial development.

We are planning a multi-disciplinary KOL think tank to develop innovative trials, novel treatment strategies, enrollment optimization, and cutting-edge translational research opportunities that wil shape the next wave of surgical advancements ni lung cancer care.

Among word-leading experts who have already agreed to join are: Dr Brendon Stiles, Montefiore Einstein Cancer Centre; Dr David Jones, AATS President and TSOG PD; Dr Tina Cascone, MD Anderson Cancer Center; Dr Jay Lee, UCLA; Dr Cecilia Pompili, Leeds Institute of Cancer &Pathology; Dr Jarushka Naidoo, Ireland; Dr Jessica Donington, UniversityofChicago Medicine; Dr Paula Ugalde, Brigham and Women’s Hospital; Dr Kazu Yasufuku, Toronto General Hospital; Dr Logan Walsh, McGil University; Dr Jean-Marc Baste, Rouen University Hospital; Dr Moishe Liberman, Centre Hospitalier de l’Université de Montreal

Our effort also aims to identify and mentor promising fellows and junior faculty in the domain of early-stage lung cancer trials to accompany this new generation of trials within this expert think tank setting.

The meeting is planned as a two-dayworkshop:
• Day 1: Working groups for Stage I, II, III, IV, NSCLC, perioperative care and pathways ot ensure adherence ot intended oncologic therapy, translational research opportunities
• Day 2: Presentation of suggestions and votes for three projects to move forward
