Instructions and recommendations to record your presentation
1. STEPS TO FOLLOW FOR RECORDING:
Download the E-CONGRESS application for Windows or MacOS.
Once in the application, select the congress: SECEC 2021
Access with your personal user and password (those that you can find on the received email with the acceptance and instructions).
A list of the presentations in which you are an author will appear on the screen. Select the one you want to record and click “Next”.
Choose the recording format “CAMERA SCREEN/ONLY CAMERA”. Set up the camera and microphone by following the steps indicated and press "Next".
Your webcam image will appear on the screen.
Press "START RECORDING" to proceed. Once the recording is made, you can review it by clicking on “PREVIEW”. If you are satisfied with the result, click on "UPLOAD", or if, on the contrary, you want to record it again, click on "NEW".
2. RECOMMENDATIONS FOR RECORDING:
To ensure good quality when recording, we recommend:
Select as far as possible a quiet location without external noises or sounds.
Ensure that you have a frontal light source (natural or artificial), avoiding backlighting. The objective is that the face is sufficiently illuminated.
Try to keep the webcam at eye level and centered on the screen (if possible)
Select a clear background (white back, light colored, smooth, etc.)
Using a microphone close to the mouth (for example, “hands-free mobile” headphones, video conferencing headphones, external tabletop microphone, etc.)
Disconnect the warnings and notifications from the computer in use.
Mute all electronic devices on your surroundings such as: mobiles, tablets, radios, etc.
Try to make sure that you have a stable internet connection to ensure the correct upload of the final file.
If you are going to record your presentation from a laptop, make sure you have the power supply connected to avoid running out of batter
