SECEC 2018 Welcome Cocktail will be held on Wednesday, 19th late afternoon from 19:00h to 20:30h after the Opening Ceremony.

Forget about the sitting plan and the long formal dinner. For this edition, the format of the congress dinner has been changed to a more relaxed and attractive evening. The format will be an exclusive buffet with the best of traditional swiss food in order for all delegates to feel comfortable coming to this special soirée, for which entertainment and delight are guaranteed.
This year the evening will end with a party that will bring out the best of all congress delegates in a young and contemporary atmosphere which will be a nice SECEC Get-together impossible to forget.

The Venue for this soirée will be the Bâtiment des Forces Motrices, which is an example of the successful restoration and transformation of an industrial site. Two official inaugurations have thus taken place during its existence, one in May 1886 as a factory and the other in September 1997 when it became an opera house with a theater and rooms for events and exhibitions. It is easily reachable from all Geneva and 15 minutes away from CICG by public transport
